Oakham Suite is now recognised as one of the premier independent venues in the heart of
Mansfield. We are in a convenient area on Nottingham Road, (next to the Talbot Inn) with truly
enviable suites to be proud of. Perfect for conferences and dinner dances among many other
types of events.
We offer room hire and catering services for weddings, conferences and seminars, private
functions-anniversaries, celebrations, proms, discos, funeral gatherings, lectures, wedding
fayres… both our ground floor Oakham Suite and first floor Sandhurst Suite can be used in a
variety of different ways to suit most occasions from small to large events of up to 300 people.
The most important asset the Oakham Suite has is its staff – people who make things happen.

Some people are graced with naturally great organisation skills. Some people aren’t. Working

Some jobs have entry-level requirements 5 GCSE’s grades A – C to include Maths and English
Language. Other jobs do not require any qualifications, however, all jobs do require great
communication skills and a real desire to provide an excellent level of service. We offer
training and development opportunities as appropriate and relevant for all staff.
